You forgot to mention Vasco da Gama, also 4 times winner. Flamengo has a fight against our league manager, CBF, because he also won the '87 league, so he is considered by many a 5 times winner... Our football is very well administrated, as you can see.

hey johnny, how many guys does the sao paolo stadium take?  could you give us some numbers on how many people usually take the trip there.  Brann Stadion right now has a capacity of about 13000, because we are building out, and this year we had an average of about 16800 people there.  When they are finished buildning out, it will be a beautiful stadium with a capacity of 20000.

For example, i'm going next sunday with 70.650 other brothers to scream and yell for our fourth Campeonato Brasileiro. The record of public was about  138.000. Here you can see pics of the stadium: http://www.tricolormania.com.br/morumbi/

I saw Brann stadion at google earth, and hope be there soon with all of you.

We are very afraid of violence from our Organizadas, I had some negative and sad experiences, most of brazilian think twice about going on a stadium with all the hate people put on our beloved football. I disagree with this stupidity, we can prove our passion without killing anyone.

Maracanã is an old stadium, it's not allowed to sell too many tickets there now... About 110.000, at maximum. Historical books says that at Brasil vs Uruguay, 1950 world cup final, was something like 210.000 people crying at the end of the game...

One of the long-sides is under construction. The old one was demolished after this season. The other long-side will be demolished after next season, to make room for a new one, if things goes as planned.

The DVD actually shows Steve and Janick at maracanã watching brazilian league 2000 final match, Vasco vs São Caetano, in 2001.
A-ha 198.000 show was in maracanã indeed... But the stage and most of audience was on the field.
