hello,

i'm an italian football fan and i'm interested at the origin of football teams

could you tell me about the origin of the Brann shirt?
why a club adopted its colours?

Our shirts are red because Brann literally means "fire"

Our first shirts were vertically striped, at least that's the case on the first official photo. White and red.

Brann var vel hovedsaklig ike rød?

Det var vel heller hvit og svart som var de fine fargene..?

klubbfargene er vel i tgangspunktet rødt og svart. var ihvertfall det Bjørn Dahl sa før fjordårsesongen når han ble spurt det samme på nrk

This shirts were made before the 2008 season in connection with SK Branns 100th anniversary (1908-2008)
Its (supposedly) based on a photo from 1914.
